The Cavs swept Miami in the first round, but lost to the Pacers in five games in the conference semi-finals. After a disappointing end to their season, Cleveland listens to trade offers this offseason. However, Cavs insider Chris Fedor reported that Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley were “out of control” in trade.

Following the shocking end of The Cavs’ 2025 postseason, the team is considering changes this offseason. Chris Fedor of Cleveland.com reported that the team will entertain potential trading this offseason. However, Fedor said the Cavaliers consider Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley “uncontrollably.” He noted that the team is comfortable listening to Darius Garland or Jarrett Allen’s trade offers.
Donovan Mitchell is away from his first team All-NBA season. Evan Mobley was the second team All-NBA defensive player of the year from 2024-25. These are the two players that Cavs want to keep in the long term. So Chris Fedor could see the Cavs hearing Darius Garland or Jarrett Allen’s trade offer.
Fedor used the idea of trade in magic. Oraldono sent Jalen Sagus and Tristan da Silva to the Cavs in exchange for Darius Garland. The Suggs aren’t as talented as Garland, but they’re versatile on the defensive side. It remains to be seen whether the Cavs would like to split the core group that went 64-18 during the regular season. The Cleveland front office will have serious conversations this offseason and make the best moves for the team to move forward.
