The Indiana Pacers played team first basketball in the 2025 playoffs

Tyreese Halliburton and the Pacers were home to Game 4 and Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Tuesday. Indiana had a 2-1 series lead heading into the game.

The Pacers have all-stars like Tyrese Halliburton and Pascal Siakam who help carry their luggage. But Indiana’s philosophy is team first basketball. This strategy shines for Pacers in the 2025 playoffs. Head coach Rick Carlisle used 10 players on Tuesday, all played at least 10 minutes or more. Indiana thrives with deep spinning.

Following the loss in Game 3, Tyrees Halliburton vowed to be more offensive in Game 4. That’s exactly what the young All-Star did on Tuesday night. He played almost triple doubles at halftime and clutched every game. Halliburton finished with 32 points, 15 assists, 12 rebounds, 4 steel and zero turnovers. He made history in the NBA as the first player to have 30/15/10 in a zero turnover playoff game.

Although Halliburton was individually shining, the Pacers still played the basketball brand. They love pushing the pace and keeping the ball moving. It contradicts New York’s theatrical style. Pascal Siakam is another go-to player for the Pacers. He scored 30 points in Game 4 and was 3-4 over the arc. Siakam scored over 20 points in four of his last six games.

Another unnamed hero of the Pacers is starting sci-fi Aaron Nesmith. He scored a playoff career-high 30 points in Game 1. Nesmith was a series for all Jalen Branson’s primary defenders. Advances Monday’s Indiana film session, Rick Carlisle told Benedict Matlin to get ready. His role has been cut in the last three games, but Mathurin was effective in Game 4. He came out of the bench to score 20 points in 12 minutes. It included the fourth seven. Having a player of quality depth is a separation of this postseason pacer from your opponent.
