He also earned runner-up spots in the Grade 3 Pat Day Mile and LeComte Stakes, along with a third-place finish in the Grade 2 Gulfstream Park Mile Stakes. Racing through his five-year-old season until May, Hog Creek Hustle retired with ten performances scoring over 100 on the E Speed Figure scale and total earnings of $775,546.
By pedigree, Hog Creek Hustle is a son of G1 Arkansas Derby champion Overanalyze and out of Candy Fortune, a mare by Candy Ride. Additionally, he is a half-brother to Grade 3 winner Majestic Dunhill. He will stand at stud for a fee of $3,500.
