Alan Jouban is set to make his color commentary debut at a Dana White’s Contender Series event this Tuesday. The former UFC welterweight, who fought 13 bouts in the organization and has been a regular analyst on the desk, will join play-by-play announcer Dan Hellie and fellow color commentator Laura Sanko for DWCS 93. The event is scheduled for September 22 at Meta APEX in Las Vegas and will be available on Paramount+.
MMA Junkie confirmed the commentator lineup through a UFC official. Jouban has previous experience calling fights, having worked on the “Road to UFC” series in Asia as well as regional events for the LFA. The 43-year-old last fought professionally in November 2021, securing a unanimous decision win against Jared Gooden at UFC 255. Over his UFC career, Jouban compiled an 8-5 record inside the octagon.
