For now, I’m concentrating on doing my best and recovering the enjoyment I once had on the bike because that’s what made me fast. I’m not worried about the future; I just want to be competitive again.”
When asked about pursuing roles beyond racing, such as a test rider position, Bautista said, “At the moment, my goal is to keep racing. I enjoy it and feel good both physically and mentally, so that remains my focus for now, but nothing is set in stone.”
