Olympic gold medalist and former two-division UFC champion Henry Cejudo is set to make his professional boxing debut against undefeated prospect and actor Javon “Wanna” Walton in the headline bout for Misfits Boxing’s Miami event on Saturday, September 26.
At 39 years old, Cejudo is widely regarded as one of the best combat athletes of his generation. He won the 2008 Olympic freestyle wrestling gold and held UFC titles in both flyweight and bantamweight divisions before retiring from MMA for the second time in late 2025. While he has remained active in combat sports through Real American Freestyle events, Saturday’s fight will mark his first foray into professional boxing.
Initially, Cejudo was scheduled to fight Misfits Boxing veteran Deen The Great, but Deen pulled out less than two weeks before the event. Stepping in on short notice, 20-year-old Javon Walton—better known for his acting role as Ashtray on HBO’s “Euphoria”—will face Cejudo. Despite being new to the boxing scene compared to Henry, Walton holds a 3-0-1 record with one knockout and recently earned a unanimous decision win over Anthony Mora in September 2025.
