The striker played the entirety of the 90 minutes in the match against Romania last Friday, where he scored in Sweden’s 2-1 victory, continuing his impressive start to the season.
So far this season, Isak has netted five goals in eight appearances for both club and country.
During the game against Romania, Isak appeared to be in pain but initially described his discomfort as coming from a “heavy stamp” that stained his sock with blood.

Last season, Isak struggled with injuries at Anfield, suffering a leg fracture that sidelined him for an extended period and missing five games due to a groin issue between October and November.
