Yet, by 2026, this vision has become a reality, leading to considerable success across WWE’s main roster, “WWE NXT,” and AAA.
Recently, WWE posted a YouTube vlog featuring Paul Levesque (Triple H) during his visit to WWE events in Mexico, where he praised his longtime friends who have stepped into these influential roles. Levesque reflected on the emotional significance of seeing his peers continue to contribute their experience and knowledge to the next generation as their in-ring careers wind down. He expressed, “Seeing the guys that are my generation, my contemporaries, my friends, be able to step into these roles, be able to continue as our bodies won’t allow us to do it anymore, but continue to take all the knowledge that they have in their minds and be able to give it back to this next generation, to me that’s what this business is all about. It’s emotional for me to see that and to be a part of it and to do it with those guys, nothing makes me happier.”
Levesque, currently WWE’s COO, has overseen creative on the main roster since October 2023 after previously managing “NXT” until health issues led him to pass leadership to Michaels in September 2021. Meanwhile, The Undertaker began leading weekly AAA creative operations shortly after WWE acquired the company in April 2025.
