Every day they’re hustling.
On Friday, October 2, the Miami Heat revealed plans to host an event called “A Night in Vice City” to celebrate the upcoming launch of “Grand Theft Auto 6.”
This special occasion will coincide with the Heat’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks on November 18, just one day before the highly anticipated video game’s official release on November 19. Notably, this game will mark Giannis Antetokounmpo’s first matchup against the Heat — the team that originally drafted him and helped turn him into a superstar.
According to the Heat’s announcement, their collaboration with Rockstar Games will transform the Kaseya Center into a fully immersive Vice City-themed environment. The event draws inspiration from the fictional Vice City setting of “Grand Theft Auto 6,” described as “the darkest side of the sunniest place in America.” Previews of the game showcase elements like palm trees, alligators, exotic cars, gold chains, moody alleyways, and art deco beachfront buildings glowing with neon lights — essentially capturing the essence of Miami.
The game itself will feature a custom-designed court, players adorned in new uniforms, and a variety of themed activities throughout the night. Fans will also have the opportunity to purchase exclusive merchandise including T-shirts, hoodies, and hats.
The campaign kicked off on October 1 with a neon sign reading “Welcome to Vice City” lighting up atop the arena. The Miami Heat promised to share more details about the event as the date approaches.
