AC Milan’s young talent, Alphadjo Cisse, feels that he has only displayed “70% of my abilities” in the current season.
Cisse joined the team in February but spent the rest of the 2025-26 season on loan at Catanzaro, making his way into the Rossoneri’s first team this summer.
The 19-year-old shone during pre-season under coach Ruben Amorim, scoring in a win over Manchester United and also finding the net in Milan’s Serie A season opener against Torino.
Cisse set a record as the youngest Italian player (19 years, 305 days) to score for Milan in Serie A since Patrick Cutrone (19 years, 236 days) did so against Cagliari on August 27, 2017.
Following his goal in a 1-1 draw with Juventus, Cisse (19 years and 319 days) also became the youngest player to score in his first two away matches for Milan in Serie A since the three-points-per-win format began in the 1994-95 season.
Carrying his prolific form into the international break, he scored the only goal in Italy Under-21s’ European qualifier win against Armenia Under-21s.
“This year has brought me a lot of joy,” Cisse shared in an interview with Rai Sport.

“I’ve only revealed 70% of my potential so far, and I believe I can achieve much more.”
“The goal [against Armenia] makes me very happy, and I look forward to showcasing more of my skills.”
Milan will face Sassuolo in their first match after the international hiatus and subsequently meet Salzburg in the Europa League.
Fan Take: Cisse’s burgeoning talent is a beacon of hope for AC Milan fans, as it suggests the club may have found a future superstar. His continuous improvement and contributions could potentially elevate Milan back to the top of European football, igniting excitement among supporters.
