Keanu Carver, whose real name is Kevin Robertson, has been removed from WWE’s internal roster and is no longer with the company. Mike Johnson from PWInsider reported this development on Monday, though no reason was provided, and WWE has not made any public statements regarding the situation.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter previously noted that Robertson had disappeared from television and mentioned that insiders believed he might be gone permanently. Robertson hasn’t competed since September 12th. He is currently subject to a temporary protection order filed by another NXT wrestler in Florida. POST Wrestling first revealed the filing on September 29 but did not disclose the petitioner’s identity. The petition, submitted on September 14, accuses Robertson of stalking and harassment following the end of their relationship, including multiple visits to the petitioner’s home and receiving up to 44 phone calls in a single day.
A judge granted the temporary protection order the same day it was filed. Following a hearing on September 22, the order was extended until October 20, with another hearing set for that date. This order mandates that Robertson remain at least 500 feet away from the petitioner and have no contact with them.
These allegations have yet to be proven in court, as protection orders are civil matters. According to a local law enforcement official contacted by POST Wrestling, the case is presently under review by the State Attorney’s Office, which is investigating and has not confirmed if charges will be filed. To date, no formal charges have been announced. Robertson did not answer requests for comment. The earlier POST Wrestling report contains more detailed information about the filing.
On the same night the report surfaced, Carver appeared to react on X (formerly Twitter) with two posts that he later deleted: “Yall gone sound dumb ash in a month” and “Fake a*** virtue signaling mfs everything done inna dark come to light.”
Before joining WWE in 2023, Robertson played as a defensive tackle at Temple University. He made his NXT television debut in December 2023 during the NXT Breakout Tournament, where he lost in the first round to Riley Osborne. In June 2025, he participated in a Fatal Four-Way match to determine the inaugural WWE Evolve Champion, which was won by Jackson Drake. Additionally, Robertson appeared on season three of WWE LFG earlier this year.
Fan Take:
This development is significant for wrestling fans because it highlights the real-life challenges and controversies wrestlers can face beyond the ring, which can ultimately affect their careers and the sport’s image. Moving forward, WWE’s handling of such situations will be crucial in maintaining trust with fans and ensuring a safe environment for talent.
