Arsenal is looking to improve their offensive unit by signing Nico Williams from athletic club Bilbao during the summer transfer period.

According to a report from Sky Sports, Arsenal is planning a “big” summer in regards to transfers, targeting the 22-year-old. A report from Sky Sports adds that Chelsea is also enthusiastic about the players.

Williams has established himself as a key player in the club and country. He has contributed his goals for this past season 18. He’s definitely going to be a great deal of Arsenal and Chelsea acquisition. He is labelled as a “world class” player and could be a long-term asset for the two clubs.

Williams is also linked to Liverpool.

It will be interesting to see if Arsenal moves forward with an offer to sign him. They need an upgrade from Gabriel Martinelli, who has been so overwhelmed by this past season.

Williams adds pace, flare and goal from his left flank. He is versatile enough to work on the right side of an attack.

The opportunity to move into the Premier League can be exciting for players.
