Jamie Vardy is considering potential moves towards Scottish Giants Rangers. This could mark a major return to veteran striker UEFA Champions League football, according to Daily Mail reported by the Mirror.

If the deal came true, Vardy made his first appearance at European Premier Club Competition since the 2016-17 season, appearing in Leicester City during the famous European campaign.

At 38, Vardy is preparing for the next chapter of his illustrious career after confirming his departure from Leicester City, where he became a club icon.

Over 13 seasons at King Power Stadium, the former England International scored 200 goals in 500 appearances, playing a pivotal role in Leicester’s historic Premier League title victory in 2015-16, following the Champions League quarterfinals the following year.

During the 2016-17 Champions League season, Vardy appeared in nine matches, earning key goals against the Spanish side Sevilla and Atletico Madrid.

Leicester helped Leicester once again go against the odds by moving on to the final eight before being eliminated by Diego Simeone’s Atletico.

Currently a free agent, Vardy is gaining strong interest from multiple suitors both in Europe and abroad.

The Rangers have emerged as a serious candidate for his signature as they are trying to strengthen their team ahead of another Champions League qualifying push.

With Celtic winning the Scottish premiership, the Rangers can enter the qualifying stage and offer Bardi to one final shot at the top stage in Europe.
