Not Sesco or Rodrigo: Arsenal legend claims Wenger told him the signature of his dream

  • Alexander Isaac may be Arsenal’s new Thierry Henry
  • ISAK’s forwarding looks unrealistic to Arsenal

Arsenal legend David Seaman claims he recently spoke to former manager Arsene Wenger.

The former Gunners goalkeeper says Wenger is keen to Arsenal sign Newcastle United striker Alexander Isaac.

Arsenal has linked hosts of exciting offensive players, including Benjamin Sesco, and Real Madrid’s Rodrigo is on the verge of being out, according to Athletic.

Still, according to his Seaman Seaman, Wenger appears to have responded very quickly to Isak as a player he goes to.

Isaac certainly seems to be perfect for Arsenal due to his similarity to club legend Thierry Henry.

Masterfully and clinically with Pacey in front of the goal, Isaac has a bit of it all in his game. It’s no wonder Wenger probably saw something familiar there.

Discussing the chat with Wenger, Seaman said:

“I asked him that question. I said, ‘You’re your boss, who will you sign this summer?” – Isaac, as fast as that, he said. ”

ISAK’s forwarding looks unrealistic to Arsenal

Unfortunately for Arsenal fans, this is certainly a non-starter. It’s hard to imagine a reasonable fee to convince Newcastle to sell Isaac.

Swedish International is one of Europe’s best strikers at this point and should be key to the future success of Magpies.

Isaac scored in the final Carabao Cup victory at Liverpool this season, helping the NUFC return to the Champions League.

Newcastle certainly does anything at this point to avoid derailing this project, and it would make no sense for them to strengthen their rivals like Arsenal with Isaac.
