The NASCAR Cup Series is now at the final opportunity to race on intermediate tracks, which are characterized by gentle banking and roughly one-mile length. With four such races left at Texas, Kansas, Charlotte, and Nashville, the drivers who showed strength last month could dominate the playoffs. Following Ryan Blaney’s win in Nashville, this week’s power rankings reflect recent performances.

Alex Bowman slipped in the rankings, now listed as a dropout from 8th place. Other notable drivers include Chris Buescher, Kyle Busch, Austin Cindric, Erik Jones, and Bubba Wallace.

At 10th place is Chase Briscoe, who secured consecutive poles but finished 17th in Nashville, ending a streak of two wins with a top-five finish. Joey Logano, ranked 9th and new to the list, gained a fourth-place finish, marking his third top-10 in four recent races.

Rounding out the rankings:
– 8th: Ross Chastain impressed with 11th in Nashville, showing stronger performance when starting from fifth.
– 7th: Tyler Reddick finished 9th in Nashville, a respectable result given his recent history.
– 6th: Chase Elliott remains consistent at 15th place, holding 5th in the overall rankings despite only one top-five finish in the last seven races.
– 5th: Christopher Bell battled through a crash and still finished 10th, demonstrating resilience.
– 4th: Denny Hamlin led 79 laps and secured third place after starting near the front in Nashville.
– 3rd: Ryan Blaney celebrated his long-awaited win, leading 139 laps and marking six top-five finishes.
– 2nd: Kyle Larson recovered from setbacks to finish 8th, showing steady improvement.
– 1st: William Byron maintained his top position with a fifth-place finish and strong stage performances, signaling his ongoing threat in the championship chase.
