Sancho’s future remains in the air
Last week, Sancho was debating a permanent move to Chelsea, revealing that he had improved performance towards the backend of the campaign, particularly scoring in the UEFA Conference League final.
Fabrizio Romano has made it clear that the winger will not move to west London. That means Bruce had to pay Man United a £5 million penalty clause. But that doesn’t mean he’ll stay at Old Trafford beyond the summer.
With so much air about Sancho’s future, the Red Devils are exploring various ways to get him out of the book, and there is also a secret talk about West Ham United’s Winger Mohammed Kudus swap deal.
It reveals that Kudos is ready to make the move to Old Trafford, according to a United Infocus report.
That’s because the Ghanaians were about to sign Brentford star Brian Mbeumo, who recently revealed that despite interest from Arsenal, they wanted to join United this summer.
So, although the West Ham star is expected to move this summer, he may not join the Red Devils. The move has been further complicated by the fact that Graham Potter’s part is reluctant to sign Sancho.
“Generation” contracts could break the bank
Mbeumo looks like United’s preferred target target, but switching focus to the 24-year-old, the forward has a £705 million release clause in his contract with Iron, so the deal could be on the expensive side.
Therefore, it appears unlikely that Amorim’s side will sign Ghana International this summer.
