  • Man Utd is keen to sign another Premier League star
  • How stupid are they
        • He outscores Mbeumo: Man Utd weighs bids for a £40 million dellup upgrade

Bruno Fernandez is staying. Matheus Cunha is taking part. Bryan Mbeumo could be next. Manchester United’s future may be brighter…

Of course, Red Devils supporters have been following this path before, and “gaining the window” has rarely been translated into success on the field – look back at the 2021 and the statements of Jadon Sancho, Rafael Vallan and Cristiano Ronaldo.

But the difference this time is that Reuben Amorim and CO appear to be ready to raid the Premier League for a ready-made solution. Therefore, in the pursuit of Cunha and Mbeumo, the club has seen reinforcements overseas in the past decade or so.

As men’s George Smith pointed out, amid Cunya’s arrival, United had not signed a proven top flight attacker since 2018 praised Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal.

In Lukaku’s case, his return with 42 goals in 96 games is certainly aging, but his deal is not an example of accurately shining, especially considering that Rasmus Hojlund scored just 26 times on 95 outings in all competitions.

Hopefully, both Cunha and Mbeumo – the latter sign could replicate and surpass the Belgian return at Old Trafford.

Man Utd is keen to sign another Premier League star

The bombing news that Mbeumo is eager to join Amorim’s side came after the news that United have lost the race at Liam Dellup in Ipswichtown.

Amid that potential setback, Athletic’s Laurie Whitwell reports that the club is considering a central replacement: Victor Osimhen, Victor Osimhen and Antoine Semeño.

A search for new options in Frank could have meant that United have turned towards another top flight talent in the form of Brighton and Hove Albion’s Purvis Estu Pinan. Reports in Spain show that Ecuadorians are emerging as “priority” targets.

The belief is that while the 27-year-old has attracted attention from a long list of suitors, the Red Devils are currently showing “most interest” and have “eye” on fullbacks.

This comes in early reports suggesting that Ineos was in fact in discussions over the £15 million defender’s move, with a potential deal that allows Amorim to land an immediate upgrade on its January arrival, Patrick Dorgu.

How stupid are they

Dolgue’s United Journey was undoubtedly signed from Lecce on a £30 million deal in January, but it wasn’t exactly a voyage, especially considering the 20-year-old red card to Ipswichtown in February.

There were notable bright moments, including getting a penalty for Real Sociedad’s 4-1 thrashing at Old Trafford, but the promising Dane is still not truly convinced.

Adding Estkinan to strengthen the left flank was recognized by manager Fabian Hazeler as “one of the best left backs in the Premier League”, allowing the experienced star to represent the perfect upgrade.

The 2024/25 campaign ended with an offensively oriented fullback offering one goal and one assist in the league, but he previously registered 15 goals involvement in all competitions in the previous two seasons.

For comparison, the young Dolg had so far registered goals and lonely assists during his short time at Manchester.

The age of the winter signature must be taken into consideration, but it is also worth noting that Dolgue actually played as a winger in Serie A, but it is still unclear whether he will be able to provide that necessary final product.

As mentioned above, the current united man certainly isn’t far behind a series of metrics, but it’s Estpainan who puts himself on top in many key areas, including tackle and intercept, ball recovery, successful dribbling, passing accuracy, and emphasizing his quality at both ends of the pitch.

It’s not just that Dolg should be kicked out immediately in his time in British football, but at just 20 years old, there’s been a ju umpire on whether he can become a consistent regular performer at the Premier League level.

As journalist Samuel Luckhurst suggested after the final Europa League defeat to Tottenham Hotspur, the left footer definitely saw “from his depths.”

With that in mind, there is certainly a need for a rival or competitor from Denmark International this summer – signing the Seagulls star will even result in Amorim being instantly upgraded to himself.
