Last Sunday, I was lucky, but if I want to compete for the championship, I must fix this. It was another error, so let’s hope to improve moving forward.”
Despite Ducati’s dominance, Marquez pointed out that no manufacturer is unbeatable. Following two consecutive defeats for Ducati—the first since 2022—he acknowledged that all leading manufacturers eventually face fiercer competition. Eventually, no team remains invincible. Our goal is to keep improving our bike to maintain competitive performance and win.”
Marquez said the Ducati bikes perform very well but noted that recent Sunday races were abnormal, particularly pointing out the choice of a medium front tire last Sunday as a factor. He described the races at Le Mans and Silverstone as unpredictable and emphasized that competition is fierce. “No one is invincible; sooner or later, there will be rivals as good or even better than Ducati. That’s the nature of the sport and why continuous improvement is crucial.”
