Arsenal is reportedly continuing closely with the rapid development of Greece’s Wonderkid Constantinos Carressas.
The 17-year-old attacking midfielder appears to be one of Europe’s most exciting teenage talents at this point, with the gunner being mentioned as one of his admirers.
However, according to Athletic, it remains to be seen whether Arsenal will make Carress the transfer window this summer a priority.
Arsenal’s view seems to be an important window into providing a signature that can have immediate impact and help Mikel Arteta’s side win the trophy.
However, this report suggests that AFC also recognizes the need to build for the future.
Will Arsenal move Constantino Scarletsus?
Arsenal managed to do well to win the Carressas race before another top club snapped him up, but this potential deal also has some issues.
Athletics means that Greek International will not be able to actually travel to Emirates Stadium until he turns 18 in November.
That could mean that the AFC must first lend players, which doesn’t seem ideal when Arteta needs a new addition soon.
Still, while Caresus is certainly a player worth getting right now and his worth will definitely continue shooting, Arsenal’s rivals could also try to take part in the race for his signature.
