Leeds pushes this weekend to sign the assist machine

Leeds plans to do a lot of signatures this summer to prepare them to return to the Premier League next season, and defense is one area that is highly focused.

Specifically, there is a new right back on the Leeds agenda. Jaden Bogle was the starter of the championship position, but given his struggles with Sheffield United in the Premier League during the 2023-24 season, there is a desire to bring competition for the position.

And the club’s sports department was looking for players in Germany that they wanted to sign.

As reported by Foot Mercato (via Motleedsnews), Leeds is aiming for Anthony Caci’s summer moves. The 27-year-old defender can also act as a right midfielder, and is highly regarded in Germany and has established himself as an offensive fullback.

Fulham and Borussia Dortmund are said to be keen on CACI, which makes things so difficult for Leeds. However, they can offer a more prominent squad role, which could be a noticeable advantage.

Last season, CACI provided seven assists to the impressive Mainz side, which finished sixth in Bundesliga. So, along the way, I competed in the UEFA Conference League. It would be even more difficult for him to be seduced by a club like Leeds that doesn’t have European football in 2025-26, but they are determined to give it to their best shot.

It is set to be a very busy summer for Leeds. Like CACI, they have set their sights on many targets over the past few weeks. This includes former player Kalvin Phillips, who will almost certainly leave Man City.
