Reuben Amorim revealed the target of his favorite man United striker

Once he finishes his contract with Brentford for Brian Mbemo, Man United is expected to start work signing a new striker. And head coach Reuben Amorim has identified a preferred target for his position.

Many strikers, including Victor Osimhen and Liam Dellup, have been linked to the move to Man United this summer. The latter has already signed Chelsea, while the former appears to be closer to joining Al-Hilal. However, there was no preferred target for Amorim to reunite with the familiar face either.

As reported by GivemeSport, Amorim urged Man United to sign Viktor Gyokeres this summer. Please note that formal consultations have already been held with Sports CP, which can be sold at a rate in the £509 million region.

As with Matheus Cunha and Mbeumo, Gyoker is extremely keen on the move to Old Trafford despite the fact that Man United will not play in European competition next season. The opportunity to re-link with Amorim must have an impact on that stance, but he may not end in Manchester.

Arsenal is considering gyoker, as confirmed by Fabrizio Romano. They have been tracking Swedish International for a while, but the good news for Man United is that North Londoners are thought to prioritize Benjamin Sesco’s move at this stage of the summer.

That will allow Man United to unify the windows needed to pursue Gyoker’s deals, but they may need to make a sale first to negotiate with the sport. Nevertheless, it appears that Amorim has a good chance to win his man.
