Leeds United have plenty of time before them to soak in the summer transfer window to strengthen their options ahead of their Premier League season.

White people know they have to adopt well to avoid the first year decline on top flights as the last six sides rising are back again.

However, one player who appears not to be on his way to Elland Road this summer was Winger Manor Solomon, who spent the 2024/25 season on loan in West Yorkshire.

Journalist Graeme Bailey told the Bootroom: “It is said that Solomon still thinks he can break into Tottenham’s first team. He has gained so much confidence from the spell in Leeds and now feels he’s fully adapted to British football.

Solomon produced 12 goals and 10 assists on his way to the league title this season’s championship. This update suggests that he will not be participating permanently.

The other Premier League player to be loaned out at Elland Road in the 2024/25 campaign is Joe Rothwell, and the club should not try to bring him back.

Why Leeds shouldn’t sign Joe Rothwell

White people are not suited to Premier League physicality, so instead of trying to get EnglishWith back from Bournemouth, they need to look elsewhere in the transfer market.

Rothwell arrived in West Yorkshire to provide valuable backup at Daniel Fark’s central midfield position in the 2024/25 campaign. That’s exactly what he did.

As you can see at the table above, the 30-year-old maestro provided a reliable presence with the ball, completing 91% of the attempted passes and providing creativity with the ability to support his teammates.

However, Leeds will need different attributes when they are fighting relegation from the Premier League next season. Therefore, the club should avoid dealings to get him back.

In the 2023/24 Premier League season, Rothwell lost 53% of his duel and 100% of his air fight for Bournemouth in 11 appearances, but was dribbled six times in three starts.

This suggests that he doesn’t have the physical attributes needed to thrive on top flights, so why did Cherry choose to lend him to tier 2, Leeds is now linked with a star that will be a major upgrade in that position.

Leeds is pushing to sign Premier League stars

France reports that Leeds United have identified West Ham United central midfielder Thomas Sousek as a target for the summer transfer period.

The report suggests that West Yorkshire costumes are currently “pushing” to take the Czech International to Ernd Road to enhance the options for managers in the middle of the park.

It is said that the former Slavia Prague star may leave the hammer this summer, and that white people may take advantage of it.

Leeds appears to be pursuing a deal with the midfielder, considering he’s adding the 30-year-old Titan to his target list and “pushing” for the midfielder.

The report further claims that Championship champions are looking for an experienced option to bolster their efforts to stay in the Premier League, and Susek, worth £19 million in football transfers, is a player who fits the bill perfectly.

Why should Leeds sign Soucek as an upgrade for Rothwell?

The midfield star has earned 194 Premier League appearances in his previous Hammers career, and has made 245 appearances for the club in all competitions.

This shows that Sousek is an experienced player and proves he can perform on a consistent base at the top level in England, as demonstrated by how long his career at London Stadium has been.

Soucek is also a proven Premier League scorer, returning 36 goals in his top flight career, and 30-year-old Rothwell has never scored that level.

Sky Sports Commentator Andy Hinchcliffe described him as the most “dangerous” player in the clip above as he scored one of the nine Premier League goals of the season with the Wolves in December.

As you can see in the table above, Soucek also offers a level of physicality that Rothwell doesn’t have as he wins duels at an efficient speed, especially impressive in the air.

As mentioned earlier, Rothwell did not win a single air battle in Bournemouth’s 2023/24 season in the Premier League.

Soucek adds an impressive, physical presence to Leeds mid-round, has the ability to win duels and compete in the air, but Bournemouth lenders seem to be the vulnerable option for the top flight.

So hopefully, Leeds will win the Czech International race this summer as a major upgrade at Rothwell, in the middle of the park.

Leeds United were able to land the greatest signature since Rafinha by bringing the planet to Elland Road.

Meanwhile, Cherries Outcast has not proven itself on top flights and is not physically provided enough to last a week at that level, so avoiding his deal in pursuit of Soucek is a big move by white people.
