  • Hugo Ekitike could be a great signing for Chelsea
  • Chelsea chases Ekichike and Gitten

Chelsea reportedly held recent consultations as they continue to pursue potential deals with Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitique.

The talented young Frenchman shines in the Bundesliga and appears to be able to quickly get big moves.

However, according to RMC sports journalist Fabrice Hawkins, there has been little progress in the potential moves towards Chelsea so far.

Posting tonight on his previous Twitter X, Hawkins says that Chelsea hasn’t broken contacts over Ekitique yet, but for now he’s not too much in the way of progress due to his 100 million euro asking price…

Hawkins said:Chelsea signed Hugo Ekitike this summer and are still considering negotiating with players’ camp. A recent meeting was held between the two political parties. So, despite the transaction not progressing, the contacts are not broken. Frankfurt is still hoping for 100 million euros from the French striker. ”

Hugo Ekitike could be a great signing for Chelsea

We have previously reported Chelsea’s interest in Ekitique. The 22-year-old Bruce is trying to give him tactical flexibility.

Ekitike operates primarily as a central striker, but is the same as the Liam Delap, which signs the new CFC, but can also have a good effect on the left side of the front 3.

Ekitike may also do well for Arsenal and other top clubs after the great form he recently showed, but Chelsea’s interest appears to be the strongest.

Chelsea chases Ekichike and Gitten

Chelsea spent a lot of time under these current owners, but it seems we can expect the same as this summer.

Delap is already on board, and Hawkins also reports on the West London Giants targeting the Borussia Dortmund Winger Jamie Gittens movement…

Gittens and Ekitike are ideal signatures to strengthen this Chelsea side, and will require upgrades to attack players like Nicholas Jackson, Pedroneto, Joan Felix and more.
