Liverpool is interested in signing Newcastle United striker Alexander Isaac during the summer transfer period.

Swedish International is undoubtedly the best striker in the Premier League and he had an outstanding season with Newcastle. He helped them secure their qualifications for the Champions League and also led them to victory in the English League Cup.

According to Fichajes, Liverpool manager Arne Slot wants to sign Isak with the club. The 25-year-old scored 27 goals last season.

Liverpool needs Alexander Isaac

Former Liverpool striker Michael Owen labeled him as a “top class” player who stepped into any team. There’s no doubt that Liverpool needs a quality striker. Darwin Nunes managed seven goals in all competitions last season, and Liverpool needed an upgrade. It is still unclear whether they will be able to get ISAK deals across the line.

Newcastle doesn’t want to lose his best player, so they want to tie him down to a new deal. However, Liverpool is ready to accelerate for players. They are ready to offer Swedish International 120 million euros (£100 million).

It will be interesting to see if Newcastle wants to sell players in the coming weeks. Convincing a striker should not be too difficult for Liverpool. They are one of the largest clubs in the world, and it’s hard to refuse the opportunity to play for the Premier League champions. He has proven himself in Newcastle and is hoping to take the next step in his career. Liverpool was able to provide him with a platform to win the league title and the Champions League.

Liverpool is expected to complete the move on Florian Wirtz’s club record, and it will be interesting to see if they can afford two big money signatures in one window.
