UEFA officials, who requested to remain anonymous, confirmed the loss but were unable to share further details.

Following the match, Spanish head coach Luis de la Fuente expressed his condolences during a post-game press conference, stating, "Before addressing any questions, I want to convey my sorrow regarding the loss of a fan in the stands today. My thoughts are with their family."
