According to Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool continues to revamp their teams under manager Aan Slot, and the next confirmed summer transfer of Hungarian left-back Milos Kerquez from Bournemouth.

The young Premier League star has only been away for a few days since completing his move to Anfield.

The Premier League champions will continue their spending this summer as they have already agreed to a deal to sign Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen.

Kerquez will be next door to Liverpool

Romano spoke on his YouTube channel and confirmed that Liverpool has already been engaged in a few weeks of discussion with both Bournemouth and Kerquez representatives.

He said:

“The next thing that will happen in Liverpool is Milos Kerquez.

“So get ready for Liverpool fans because today we can talk to you about your first contact from the club to the club.

“No – Liverpool and Bournemouth have been talking for weeks.

“The agents of Liverpool and Kerquez have been speaking for a few weeks, so next will be Milos Kerquez.”

Kerkez, a dynamic fullback regularly featured at the Bournemouth backline, was impressed with 41 games last season and made a strong defensive contribution with two goals and six assists.

The young defender is ready to challenge Andy Robertson in the left-back position.

With confidence, the move is expected to close within a few days, giving Kerkez plenty of time to integrate before his training resume.

With the process underway and a lot of momentum, it is possible that Liverpool’s third confirmed summer signature (following Frimon and Wiltz) has already been announced, in time for the preseason.

Slot showed his intentions and ambitions this summer by spending it on new players to strengthen his team.

The Dutch manager is ready to embark on a new and successful era at Anfield, and he is heavily supported by club officials.

As far as offensive targets go, the Reds are interested in signing Atletico Madrid attacker Julian Alvarez, but Diego Simeone is not planning to force the Argentine striker to leave the club this summer.
