Real Madrid’s Brazilian forward Rodrigo Goes is reportedly available this summer as his role no longer exists in the tactical setup of Xabi Alonso.

Perfect for playing as a wide-ranging figure in the 4-3-3 formation, the 24-year-old is expected to be on the market after Alonso arrives at Madrid’s manager.

That’s according to an independent who says Alonso will primarily use the 4-4-2 layers, which can shift to 3-4-1-2 layers.

The report says this leaves no room for Rodrigo, which is why he will be available this summer.

Fabrizio Romano posted about Arsenal’s ratings of Rodrigo on its YouTube channel, but the report from Cadena Ser below claimed it could be available for former Santos youth for 80 million euros…

However, it is worth highlighting that Romano plays how something concrete is being done between Arsenal and Rodrigo for the time being.

In an update to that YouTube video, Romano said:

“It’s true that he’s a player they like. Certainly Arsenal will add important wingers to the team this season, so Arsenal will be busy with strikers and wingers the following week.

“Rodrigo is their internal favorite player. Of course they’re great players, top top players. But at this point, Real Madrid has yet to receive official approaches, official talks, bids and so on.

“At this point, there is an internal thanks to Rodrigo, but Real Madrid has not yet received a formal proposal or formal approach.

“Let’s see what Arsenal does. It’s probably going to depend on the budget too. How much they have to spend on the winger. This will be important.”

Arsenal watching the winger

Arsenal knows they need a new left winger this summer.

Catch off side We also receive information about the North London giants, who are focusing on Juventus’ Kenan Ildis, and although Nico Williams is also on the list, it appears to be too expensive.

Either Rodrigo, Illdis, or Williams could be upgrades to inconsistent duos Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Torosard.
