Oklahoma City Thunder

now that It seemed to be from an Oklahoma City perspective. After blowing a double-digit fourth quarter lead in Game 1, thunder I slapped it Pacer123-107 until the NBA Finals.

  • Shy Gilgaus Alexander He had 34 points and 8 assists. His 72 points in this series are the most players have ever had after his first two career final games.
  • After Tough Game 1, his co-stars also appeared: Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren It was combined with 34 points.
  • But the biggest difference was the bench that returned to normal Stirling standards. Oklahoma City’s reserve scored 48 points Alex Caruso I’ll post 20 Aaron Wiggins Add 18. Both scored more than any Pacers player.
  • Oklahoma City are 5-0 this postseason after a loss, with an average winning margin of 19.6 points.

Yes, the attacks ran after unsightly game 1, but we forget not to mention anyone like this lu sleepsWho has again accused him Tyreese Halliburton. The Indiana star was three-quarters and only five points. And when he finally started hitting shots (he finished with 17 points), the game was out of reach – yes, even on this Pacers team.

Indiana, like Oklahoma City, hasn’t lost a back-to-back game in these playoffs. To continue doing that, Halliburton must be more assertivewrites Jack Maloney, even if it is much easier than it is done against lightning.

  • Maloney: “Because of its value, Halliburton left the podium with a slight limp following a post-game press conference. He hasn’t appeared in the injury report, and it’s not clear what bothers him, but his health could be a storyline to watch him head out to Game 3 in Indianapolis on Wednesday.”

And for our Brad Botkin, he writes it One path to upsetting Oklahoma City in Indiana was highlighted.

  • Botkin: “Indiana has to win a three-point fight because OKC is good everywhere on the floor. They’re bigger. They certainly have the best 1-1 creators in the series. They have one of the best defenses in history. There’s very little reason to choose a pacer to win this series.

Housev. NCAA settlement has been approved: what it means, winners, losers

After six months of lawsuit, US District Judge Claudia Wilken Landmark House vs NCAA Antitrust Settlement approved On Friday, we will close the NCAA amateurism model and open the door to revenue sharing. It will take effect on July 1st.

This is the important pointfrom Brandon Marcello:

  • The $2.8 billion 10-year settlement pays past athletes who competed for missed opportunities between 2016 and 24, allowing the university to pay directly to current players.
  • Schools can share up to $20 million in revenue with players next year. Caps increase by at least 4% each year in a 10-year agreement. This is how it works.
  • The way schools spend $20 million is TBD. Most schools follow the back payment formula of former athletes. 75% against soccer, 15% for men’s basketball, 5% for women’s basketball, and 5% for all remaining sports. However, some schools may use a gross revenue formula.
  • It is unclear how this will affect zero among third parties, but these transactions will be scrutinized through the executive body.

So is it going to end the “wild west” era of college athletics? Chris Hammer says no.

  • Hammer: “The NCAA still has no antitrust exemption. Both the NCAA and its member schools negotiate comprehensively with athletes. One or both of these factors, the change that comes with the home is a halt measure… one hopeless school is needed to push the boundaries of a fair market. A cash wad appears in McDonald’s bag during a chance recruitment trip.”

Gary Parish Reflect those feelingsand says John Tarty “There was never a better time to become an attorney interested in college sports.”

This is Johns Winners and losers.
