The best match of the day at the 2025 French Open was held at the secondary venue. Unranked Alexander Babrick surprised No. 5 Jack Draper. The 27-year-old, representing Kazakhstan, controlled a thrilling matchup to score 5-7, 6-3, 6-2 and 6-4, reaching his first career Grand Slam Quarter Final.

Bublik may have won the match in straight sets. He took a 5-4 lead in the first set and came back to Draper to win 7-5. But from there, Bublik controlled every part of this matchup and played some of the best tennis of his career to dismantle the game of Draper. Everything seemed to fall on his path.

In the fourth set, after going 5-4 again, Bublik had a chance to win and started the game strongly with the ace. However, Draper took the lead and dug deeper to stop Babrik’s victory. However, as Draper dropped the next three points and placed Babrik in that position for a match point, it seemed that young Britt’s nerves would catch up with him.

Before Bublik could finally finish work, the advantages traded in the high stakes game (the longest game of the match) were traded.

Bublik will be a member with little chance of a quarter final. He will face the world’s No. 1 Jannik Sinner, who will face the next round of challenges.

Novak Jjokovic wins his 100th French Open victory

With his 21st French opening, Novak Djokovic is still making history. The Serbian great won his 100th French Open victory on Monday.

With the victory, No. 6 seed Djokovic advances to the French Open Quarter Final, facing third seed, Germany’s Alexander Zverev. Zverev advanced with Walkover defeating Dutch player Tallon Griekspoor, who retired two sets later.

For Djokovic, the unranked Nolly never had a chance. The Serbs started strong and defeated Noli 6-2 in the opening set. The more competitive second set was split temporarily by a medical halt as trainers attended Nolly’s ankles. After play continued, Djokovic maintained control to win a set of 6-3.

In the third set, Djokovic did some light work on Nolly, barely competing for the first few games. Nolly fought back to win another game and tried to incorporate another game before Djokovic finished him with a 6-2 victory.

Djokovic is now moving on to his 19th French Open Quarter Final, passing through the first four rounds of the tournament without dropping a set.

With his 100th victory, Djokovic hits a milestone for the first time in his career. Only Rafael Nadal, the “king of kings,” has a more open victory for France than he has. Djokovic has also won 99 wins at the Australian Open. This is the event he scored 10 times.

Jannik Sinner dispatches Andrey Rublev

World No. 1 continued his dominant year with a victory over Andreil Brev, who was 17th in straight sets, 6-1, 6-2, 6-4. Thinner pulled out a strong Primetime victory on Monday to advance to the quarterfinals, continuing his quest for his first French open title.

The match was closer than displayed based on the final score, and Rublev extended some points before Sinner was able to finally pull them. However, the sinner maintained his energy and proved why he was on top.

Monday’s victory marked 18 consecutive Grand Slam tournament wins, with the 23-year-old Italian futures moving away from consecutive victories at 2024 US Open and 2025 Australian Open. The best result for Thinner at Roland Garos was last year’s semi-finals. Well, there are two more matches between him and the final.

Thinner’s next challenge is to face Babrik, who is away from his unlikely upset on Wednesday. The winner of that match will face the winner of the quarterfinals between No. 3 Zverev and No. 6 Jjokovic.
