        • DreamGyokeres alternative: £40 million striker wants to sign Arsenal

A transfer window opens and Arsenal needs to get to work.

Mikel Arteta’s team may have finished the season once again as the second best team in the Premier League this year, but as things stand, they are left behind with rivals in the market.

For example, Liverpool secured the service of Florian Wiltz, while Manchester City signed Rayan Cherki and many other talents. And now Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are ready to fight it for Brian Mbeumo.

Luckily, recent reports suggest that gunners may be fighting to sign their own dynamic winger, which could be the answer to Mbeumo next season.

Arsenal winger search

As Arsenal produces the league’s best defense in his second year running, it’s no surprise that almost every rumor around the club focuses on strikers and wingers.

For the latter, the people of North London have already linked Real Madrid’s sensational Rodrigo for £84 million and Anthony Elanga of Nottingham Forest, which is close to £60 million.

But when things stand anyway, neither of those players feel like they’re likely to move anytime soon.

Yes, according to a recent report in Spanish newspaper Sport, Arsenal is very interested in the athletic Bilbao Star, as broadcast by sports witnesses.

In fact, in an exciting development, the report claims that gunners are bidding heavily on the young Spaniards, offering a net salary of 9 million euros per year.

Additionally, the story reaffirms the advance report that the club is willing to convert the Winger’s €62 million release clause to around £53 million.

It can be a very expensive and possibly a very complicated transfer, but given Williams’ abilities and possibilities it’s worth fighting for, especially as it would be the perfect answer for anyone signing Mbeumo.

Why Williams is the perfect answer to Mbeumo

Currently, Mbeumo is an undeniably talented winger and one of the best attackers in the Premier League this season, but there are several reasons why Williams is a great answer for Arsenal.

The first and perhaps most important reason is related to the fundamental figures of the Spaniards in the last two campaigns, as it becomes very clear that his ceiling is much higher when compared to the bee ace.

Additionally, the former Troys ace gets better with some metrics, such as progressive pass around 90 and airborne Dale, but he gives away two seconds farther in quite a distance to almost every other area.

For example, the dynamic “Level Razor” dubbed by respected analyst Ben Matinson is far superior to non-penalty goals, along with assists, progressive carry, target success, action to create shots and goals, and many, many, many, many important metrics.

Now, if the two wingers are the same age, I would suggest that the Pamplona-born International would be a better signature, but given the fact that he is three years younger than the Avalon-born Ace, we don’t know how much the gap will grow in a few years.

Finally, on top of that, the 28-cap International proved he could perform at the most pressure moments as he began scoring for Spain at the European Championship Finals last summer.

Ultimately, Mbeumo is a great player and will do well wherever he is, but Williams appears to be a great winger and therefore the perfect answer for Arsenal.
