On Monday evening, Game 5 of the 2025 NBA Finals took place in Oklahoma City. The series tied 2-2 after the Thunder won 111-104 in Game 4.

The Pacers tried to keep the game competitive in the second half. However, the Thunder began to take over and won the game 120-109. OKC increased 3-2 in the final. Pacers’ Tyreese Halliburton performed a terrible performance against Game 5’s lightning. He finished 0-6 games off the field and scored four points. All-NBA PG dealt with calf injuries throughout the game.

Against the Game 5 Thunder, Tyrees Halliburton received 4 points, 7 rebounds and six assists. He was 0-6 from the field, but that was 0-4 from across the arc. All Haiburton points on Monday night came from the free throw line. Four are not going to cut it for the NBA Finals Pacer. Pascal Siakam led the team with 28 points. No other players on the Indiana roster had scored more than 20 points in Game 5. TJ McConnell came out of the bench and scored 18 points for the Pacers.

Early in Game 5, Tyrese Haliburton was seen grabbing the back of his legs. The 25-year-old reportedly was battling an injury to a calf. Halliburton left the game and did the job with his feet before returning. His 34 minutes in Game 5 was the second most on the team. A 120-109 loss in Game 5 caused Pacer to lose 3-2 to Thunder in the NBA Finals. Indiana is turning his back against the wall for Game 6 on Thursday night.

Heading into Game 6 there is a ton of pressure for Tyrees Halliburton to step up and deliver. He’s clutching for his pacer this postseason. He was far from that in Game 5 of the 2025 NBA Finals. Indiana cannot afford All-NBA PG to zero field goals again. The Tyrese Haliburton is in top condition when he’s doing a Pacers triple double watch. Can Indiana win in Game 6 and force Game 7 to win the winner this Sunday?
