  • Thomas Party gives Arsenal ultimate in “concrete offer”

Arsenal has been in discussions for several weeks on a contract extension for star midfielder Thomas Party, but when the clock is etched on June 30th, manager Michael Arteta faces a very real prospect of losing him nothing.

After the 2023/2024 campaign, Ghana’s revival was exceptional after being devastated by injuries.

He’ll be quite addicted to Arteta’s dressing room.

Partey has been a mainstay under Arteta throughout the season, impressing his various roles in right back and midfield, making 52 appearances in all competitions.

His great shape over the past 10 months has prompted Arsenal to meet with the party on new terms, and announced that the club is dialogue about the new contract by not including Africans on this year’s official retention list.

Arteta also confirmed at a press conference that the 200,000-pound veteran a week wants to stay where he is after his best season at Emirates Stadium.

“Yeah,” the Arsenal manager said when asked if he wanted the party to stay.

“When it comes to Thomas, it was his best season in terms of consistency. His play, how he plays, his availability is exceptional, and he’s a really important player to us.”

However, discussions have been going on since late April, and there has yet to be any official confirmation from Arsenal that Partey had actually extended his stay with the N5.

Naturally, the 32-year-old has attracted serious interest from elsewhere. According to CatedOffside, both Fenerbache bosses José Mourinho and AC Milan’s Max Allegri held personal consultations with Partey.

The outlet also reports that Fenerbache and Milan have made “specific” proposals to join Partey, so Arsenal is in a big competition for their bids to keep him.

CatedOffside shares that Partey’s agents gave Arsenal the ultimate during their New Deal talk.

As Arsenal is currently deemed not to increase its initial offers, the speech is now a hindrance and is at serious risk of collapse.

Arteta wants a quick resolution. Given the free transfer to Jorgiño to Flamengo, if part leaves, the gunners are poised to be shorts for the Star Midfielder, even considering the pending arrival of Real Socié Duster Martins Vimendi, who is expected to agree to Arsenal and join Arsenal.

If Arteta wants to fill the gaps of British champion Liverpool, he needs a rejuvenation and star-studded team, and losing Partey would be a disastrous summer blow ahead of the Arsenal head coach’s important campaign.

Five years after the 2020 FA Cup final, the pressure to win major silverware really continues, so keeping the party quality/experience player is a must.
