While the focus is on upgrading Ruben Amorim’s attack options this summer, Manchester United reportedly took part in the race to sign the midfielder over £30 million.

Man Utd faces the toughest Premier League start

After finishing 15th in the last disastrous campaign, the last thing Manchester United needs is to be thrown into the deep edge in the opening week of next season. However, with the release of 2025/26 Premier League fixtures, Amorim will be very quickly looking into whether his side will eventually be able to swim, or if it will sink under pressure again.

After launching the campaign with an Arsenal visit, Manchester United will be forced to navigate a nine-game period featuring games against Manchester City, Chelsea and the Champions against Liverpool. If they were trying to ease their path to the season, simply put, they might have to rethink their approach.

Of course, by the time August arrives, the people of Old Trafford hope to build a team that can navigate that difficult opening run. Already, Ineos has secured the arrival of Matheus Cunha and reports that he is also confident about signing Brian M Beumo despite his competition with Thomas Frank’s Tottenham Hotspur.

Both additions will go a long way in the transformation of Manchester United’s offense, but Amorim will be well aware that his midfield needs to be revised too. On that front, it appears Ineos is ready to spend this summer, in reports that United took part in the race to sign midfield.

Man Utd fighting to sign Davide Frattesi

Spain reports that Manchester United are fighting to sign Davide Frattesi of Inter Milan this summer. The Italian giant reportedly value the midfielder at more than 35 million euros (£30 million).

Meanwhile, what makes the contract easier is a report that Fratesi has expressed his desire to leave this summer after starting nine Serie A games last season. Whether that opens the door to ensure cheaper deals is a question that I’m likely to ask if I’ll go ahead with their moves to sign the midfielder.

Frattesi, known as “Brilliant” by Scout Antonio Mango, has combined Manchester United to lead to further increase in the future. The midfielder also has the knack for scoring goals in big matches. They won the Champions League quarterfinals against Bayern Munich and once again won the semifinals against Barcelona.

Manchester United could be trying to land a star that could emulate Amado Diallo’s success.

At around £30 million, Frattesi has proven to be a very bargain for Manchester United. ManchesterUnited will land an underrated midfielder with ample experience, including currently being at the FIFA Club World Cup.
