We’ve heard a lot about Real Madrid wide forward Rodrigo as his future could be questionable this summer.
Brazil International has been widely reported as a target for Arsenal, so who is he, what is his attribute, and how much potential does the summer move ask him?
Who is Rodrigo? Background and early career
Rodrigo Silva de Goes’ full name was born in Osasco, Sao Paulo in 2001 and was published in a book in Santos by the age of 10.
After standing up at the academy in Santos, Rodrigo eventually became a regular on their first team. He signed his first professional contract in July 2017 and made his senior debut later that year.
In the end, Rodrigo was not surprised by Real Madrid, who recognized Clear Wonder Kid and paid nearly £40 million, as reported by Sky Sports at the time before scoring 17 goals in Santos’ 80 matches.
Rodrigo linked with Real Madrid in 2019 and took a little time to find his leg, but he won a hat-trick against Galata Salei in the Champions League, becoming the second youngest player in the history of the sport.
Career statistics and performance style
Rodrigo slowly started the xi at Real Madrid, but it’s fair to say he eventually established himself as a key player for the Los Blancos.
It was only really a season when he started playing frequently, leading to uncertainty about his future with the club.
According to the independents, there appears to be a great doubt about fitting into the new tactical setup of 24-year-old manager Xabi Alonso.

Rodrigo’s profile looks like Arsenal is missing for now. Because he offers a real threat from wider perspective, for his dribbling, pace, skill and goal eyes.

Rodrygo describes himself as a “team player,” according to a quote via ESPN, but this was also in the context of his acknowledgement of his dissatisfaction with the often used to plug in various gaps.
Obviously, this is someone who works on a team wherever he plays, but he’s more prepared to become a main man than ever before.

So, what’s behind the link from Rodrigo to Arsenal? Well, if it doesn’t look like something specific, a considerable number of reliable sources are talking about it now.
Arsenal needs a left winger, and it appears that Rodrigo could clearly be an upgrade for Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Torosad.

“It’s true that he’s a player they like. Certainly Arsenal will add important wingers to the team this season, so Arsenal will be busy with strikers and wingers the following week.
“Rodrigo is their internal favorite player. Of course they’re great players, top top players. But at this point, Real Madrid has yet to receive official approaches, official talks, bids, etc.”

“I know I have an interest from Arsenal, but it feels like something that can run deep into the window.
“It is not yet clear whether Rodrigo will be available, and the hope is that a final decision will be made after Real Madrid’s stay at the Club World Cup.

Posting on X earlier this week, Ben Jacobs said: “Arsenal had a real interest in Rodrigo and held an exploratory consultation on the players’ side, dating back to May.
Meanwhile, past and present Arsenal players are considering their opinions on this potential deal.
Speaking to Rodrigo’s fellow podcast of Brazilian international Gabriel Magalges, he expressed his clear desire to see the Madrid ace join him at Emirates Stadium.
“Rodrigo is a phenomenon for me. He’s not at Arsenal…” he said. “If it was dependent on me, I’ve already told people, he said it was a phenomenon. His name has been mentioned a lot. Of course, if it was up to me.”
Meanwhile, former Gunners midfielder Emmanuel Petit named him as signing the need for the people of North London.
“As a player I love Rodrigo,” Petit told Talksportbet. “I love his commitment on the pitch and he can score and support. He works hard and shows humility. I think he brings something great to Arsenal.”
