They are the “best place” to make a deal.
The Spurs officially appointed Dane last week, ending a search for an Anjipost Ecoglu alternative in a quick way, suggesting that Frank has already made his wish for a transfer clear to Chairman Daniel Levy.

In a recent interview with the club’s media channels, Levy explained what made Frank a standout candidate, and they already support him with the permanent signature of Matthew Tel from Bayern Munich for around £30 million.
“Whenever you have a new coach, it’s always a fresh start. You always have different ideas. But we want to build on the success of winning the trophy last season,” Levy said.
“One thing that stood out with Thomas is that he is clearly very intelligent. A great communicator. Super human. Plus, all the other technical aspects that are obviously important.”
The current former boss of Brentford also broke his silence about becoming Tottenham’s fifth new manager since 2019, and expressed serious excitement by starting a “huge” club.
“It’s a good team. It’s an exciting, large club with huge potential. So it’s very, very, very exciting,” Frank said in his first interview as the Spurs head coach.
“I had a very good conversation and conversation and meeting (Daniel Levi, Vinay Venkatesham, Johann Lange) discussing everything in detail about the structure of the club, the process and of course the things, how I saw it, my ideas, and how I want to do things, and how I try to build a team and club.
“There are ups and downs – now it’s a fairy tale. Everyone is happy, the sun is shining, it’s amazing.”
One thing Frank didn’t say in his sit-in was his club pursuit at his former star winger Brian Mbemo at Brentford.
Fabrizio Romano shares Bryan Mbeumo with the Tottenham Update
Spurs recently began its first talks about signing Mbeumo (Sky Sports), but it faces tough competition from Premier League rival Man United.
Talking to Givemesport, Romano revealed that Tottenham has launched internal talks over Mbeumo’s contract shortly after Frank signed the contract to become the new manager.
“It’s true, there’s a thanks from Thomas Frank,” Romano said.
“And it’s very clear to discuss targets like Tottenham’s Mbeumo, because as soon as he (Frank) signed the contract as the new Tottenham manager, it was one of the names he discussed internally.”
However, the respected journalist repeats that United is actually on the forefront after reaching an agreement with Mbeumo.
“It’s not easy to reach an agreement because we know that at these clubs like Brighton, Brighton, it’s always difficult to negotiate for top players, but United continues on about it,” he continued.
“They are always in touch with the players’ agents and are in touch with Brian Mbemo because players want to go to United, and for now, United remains at the forefront of this story.
The bees’ asking price is rumoured to be around £60 million, and if Amorim’s side doesn’t baffle the cash, Spurs’ reunion with Frank seems like a healthy alternative to “incredible” Africans.
