According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City has made great strides in negotiations to sign Tottenham Hotspur’s highly rated young midfielder Dexter Oliver.

The talks between the two Premier League giants are moving to a sophisticated stage as the city appears to continue its commitment to cultivate the talent of the next generation of elites.

The city was also able to make progress by signing young Liverpool starlet Kaylam Moss this summer.

It shows the intention to build the next generation of stars for the future.

Pep Guardiola is actively and aggressive when adding quality to his first team team, but Sky Blues also keeps an eye on future talent.

The city has also reached an agreement to sign talented young Norwegian midfielder Svere Nipan.

Considered one of the most promising midfielders of the Spurs youth class, Oliver has been attracting the attention of scouts and coaches across England.

City is now pushing him to take him to the academy setup. There he is developed within the club’s world-class youth infrastructure.

The club consistently scouted and developed players who could break into and create value through loan transactions and final transfers.
