Liverpool hopes to hurry up to sign top targets this summer

Liverpool has already spent a lot of time this summer and wants to spend more cash on their efforts to sign a new striker. The target of their dreams is Alexander Isaac, and although reports have been positive in recent weeks, supporters’ hopes are now back on Earth.

Recently, it has been pointed out that Liverpool is actively pursuing a contract from Newcastle to sign Isaac. Over £100 million for Florian Wirtz, spending £40 million and £25 million for Milos Kerkez and Jeremy Frimpong, respectively, but the Premier League champion is thought to be willing to spend his days big again at the age of 25, who scored 27 goals in all competitions last season.

Supporters will love these updates, but unfortunately for those of Liverpool, the reality is that things aren’t as progressing as they like.

As reported by The Telegraph, Newcastle had no contact with Liverpool about ISAK. And they remain keen to turn down any approach, and £150 million is needed to bring them to the negotiation table.

Because of this stance, Liverpool thinks it will be extremely difficult to be able to sign ISAK this summer. The expectations from within Anfield are that they almost certainly cannot be realized unless Newcastle eases their demands.

Newcastle is within the right to stand firm on Isaac, who hopes to be important to them again next season. Liverpool is still on the market for new strikers, but if you’re desperate to take someone this summer, you might need to look elsewhere.
