  • Man United told Everton to sign Beto
  • Beto Move means little to Red Devils

As Manchester United were searching for the prolific No. 9, director Reuben Amorim was told to make the move of Everton Striker Beto, now 27-year-old Guinea-Bissau International, in Everton.

While famous targets such as Bryan Mbeumo, Viktor Gyoker and Hugo Ekitike remain on the radar, Beto is welcomed by the important voice as an important option.

Amorim has been keeping an eye on new attackers this summer after the failures of Rasmus Hozilund and Joshua Zilkies at Old Trafford.

After a challenging adjustment period at Everton, Beto scored four goals in five Premier League matches under David Moe.

Meanwhile, it is linked to the movement of sports striker Gyoker, who worked with Amorim at the Portuguese Club, president of Vito’s first club, Uniao Tire.

“Everyone thought Amorim would sign Gyoker when he had him in the sport, but the Premier League is totally different from Portugal.” Lopez said to the sun.

“The team is more physical, compact in the back, faster and more competitive. Gyoker will struggle to play as the only No 9 waiting for service.

“Beto is a more physical player, fighting defenders and not losing duels. He is a real headache for his opponents – in their golden age, United always didn’t score many goals from many seasons.

“Beto represents a typical old style, due to his physique, power, and workplace. What’s more, he’s very fast. When Moe went to Everton, he showed what he was to stop the defender.

Set to turn 28 in January, Beto enters the peak year of his career.

For a club like United, he wants to make a significant long-term investment in the striker division, so his age and complex goalscore output raises questions about the move.

He may maintain a wider list of contenders due to his affordability and the Premier League experience, but it is likely that United will prioritize younger and more prolific options.

BETO seems like a more opportunistic backup option than the headline signing United’s summer rebuild.
