summary

  • Grok is predicting Rangers’ starting lineup for Russell Martin on 2025/26.

  • James Tavernier is supported to stay as captain, with two new signatures being brought to XI.

  • It also includes major players such as Nicholas Ruskin, Nedim Bajrami and Hamza Igamane.

Russell Martin’s first match as Rangers manager is just a month away, with Champions League qualifiers scheduled for the Panathinaikos.

GERS takes over the Greek side with a two-legged tie at the end of July, so the new owner of 49ers Enterprises won’t be long before they can act in the transfer market.

Many are intrigued to see how Martin line up his Rangers, as he is about to win his second Scottish Premiership title in 12 years in 2025/26.

£6 million star returns to Ibrox: AI predicts who will sign this summer

It could be a busy few months for the 49ers.

X’s AI tool Grok has already predicted signatures for several rangers this summer, predicting the starting lineup at Ibrox on 25/26, with some surprises.

AI predicts Rangers’ starting lineup 2025/26

GK: Liam Kelly

Called a “reliable option,” Liam Kelly has been favored for scoring the Rangers’ goals, and Jack Butland’s future appears to be in the air.

They say that despite all the competitions at the 29-year-old in every competition last season, “Kelley’s experience makes him a solid choice.”

RB: James Tavernier

Club captain James Tavernier regularly links with the Rangers exit, but Glock believes that “it’s likely to remain in another season unless a significant offer arrives.”

AI believes Tavernier could be added to his appearance on the 513 Gers, adding that he “will remain a key figure despite speculation about his exit.”

CB: Aaron Donnelly

Interestingly, Dundee centre-back Aaron Donnelly is expected to move to Ibrox despite being a stubborn Celtic supporter.

The 22-year-old moved from Nottingham Forest to Scotland in the beginning of 2025, actually scoring against Hoops in a 3-3 draw. This would be a surprise as there were no specific rumors about Donnelly’s transfer.

CB: Robin Prov

Robin Propper is deeply tied to his return to the Netherlands at FC Twente, but his transfer appears to be stagnant and he is expected to start under Martin.

The Central Defender made 43 appearances in all competitions during his first season with Ibrox and was selected as captain at one point.

LB: Ridvan Systems

There has been much talk about Ridvan Yilmaz’s future and the potential rangers exit, but Turkish International is still in Ibrox’s book and is still on a two-year contract.

Grok says Jefte will come in if he leaves, but for now he has backed Yilmaz.

CM: Conor Baron

After 46 appearances in his first season as a Rangers player, Connor Baron was supported to maintain his position under Martin despite Real Cameron’s arrival.

A defensive midfielder, Baron is said to be “a guaranteed starter with long-term assets and double pivots, in line with the club’s youth focus.”

CM: Nicholas Ruskin

Next to Baron is Nicholas Ruskin, who has been linked to a £25 million exit from the Rangers this summer.

According to Glock, if Belgian International remains in Glasgow and his “tension and speed of work will be the mainstay in the midfield,” that would be a big boost.

RM: Nedim Bajras

Nedim Bajrami was used primarily as an offensive midfielder or as a left side during his first season with the Rangers, but is expected to move to the right on 25/26.

Albania International is “to develop further,” and Grok adds Bajrami’s “right wing versatility and creativity.”

AM: Mohamed Diomande

Another versatile midfielder, Mohamed Diomande played as a defensive, central and offensive midfielder last season.

He is said to be the “centrestone of the midfield” and is predicted to play a more advanced role under Martin.

LM: KWE PO

The second new signature predicted to create a starting XI under Martin is Kwame Poku. The Rangers, which are set to set out for a free transfer of Peterborough United this summer, were supported to win the race at Ghana International.

Left-footed winger Grok predicts Poku will bring “pace and directness” to Ibrox’s “left flank.”

ST: Hamza number

The end of the lateral movement is also becoming a person in demand, Hamza Igamane, who is Ruskin’s favorite. However, if he stayed, it could be a guaranteed starter in the last third.

Scottish premiership top scorer Ciriel Deserz was able to leave Ranger this summer.
