It’s a good time to become a Liverpool fan. This is why.

Liverpool won the Premier League in the first season Jurgen Klopp called the day, just in case you missed it. The FSG was ruled in the Court of Public Opinion to do impossible tasks, and few felt threatened when Feyenoord boss Arne Slot was appointed as the iconic German successor.

However, slots are currently the England champion and he certainly is rewarded for his victory in the summer transfer market.

Last week, Liverpool announced the signature of Florian Wiltz from Bayer Leberkusen.

Wirtz is one of the brightest dozens of football in the world, and his fixed fee of £100 million could rise to a UK record of £116 million.

Now, Milos Kerquez completed the details of his move to Anfield and descended at Merseyside. Bournemouth’s left back signs a move worth £40 million. He is advertised as Andy Robertson’s successor.

The young Hungarian is jumping on the opportunity to sign the red in the slot, but what about his view on the fullback game, which FSG has urged the barrel forward and become the most expensive wider defender in Liverpool’s history?

Why Liverpool signed Milos Kerquez

Robertson is a legend, but there’s no doubt that he’s in decline. The 31-year-old is targeted by Atletico Madrid, and his junior, Cerquez, is the perfect heir.

The 21-year-old Kerkez was only in British football for two years, but he became his own under Andoni Iraola’s Wing last season, starting all 38 of Bournemouth’s top flight fixtures, scoring twice and making five assists.

Athletic, energetic, relentlessly intense, he is also coveted by Manchester City and Real Madrid, and is a real deal. Liverpool has always been a step ahead, so he will help take this amazing team to the next level.

In a way, the slots hit the jackpot with the team he inherited, but it must not be forgotten that Liverpool had been doing it for four years without experiencing the Premier League.

He deserves a squad made of his vision, and Kerkes fits the bill. However, Liverpool still needs a centre-back, and sports director Richard Hughes has players in mind.

Liverpool prepares new defender bids

According to French journalist Sebastian Vidal, Liverpool is planning to taper their opening bid, following confirmation that FSG is actually enthusiastic after FSG agrees to sell Jarell Quansah to Leverkusen, followed by news that Fabrizio Romano is actually enthusiastic, Liverpool is planning to taper their opening bid, according to French journalist Sébastien Vidal.

A few days ago it was revealed that Merseysiders had long-term interest in the uncontracted England international in one year.

They’ll be willing to pay £30 million, but this is not expected to convince the Eagles to say goodbye.

However, Guehi, 24, is helping Palace glory in the FA Cup, and Arsenal, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur are also considered suitors, wanting to ensure playing time.

How Marc Guehi and Milos Kerkez can work in tandem

Guehi always has some elite potential, and was sold to the palace for £18 million in 2021 after rising ranks at Cobham Academy in Chelsea before being sold to the palace for £18 million in 2021 after two impressive loan spells with Swansea City.

Now he is “England’s best centre-back” for some, and the online analysts who made that claim can certainly draw out data to demonstrate his claim.

Certainly, Guehi won the FA Cup last year, but has produced consistently high-quality performances over a series of years to stand out at Euro 2024 and to attract attention from Gareth Southgate, who was now the focus of Thomas Tuchel.

As solid as a cow and seemingly elegant on the ball, Guehi has the perfect style for “slot balls”. He joins the ballplay focus that coaches expect while protecting Alison Becker’s goal.

It’s definitely a stylistic approach that allows you to see him thrive in Kerques. Kerquez has proven himself invaluable along with the Dean Huisen ballplay defender that Liverpool had hoped for before signing for £550 million this summer.

Guehi was recorded by data-centric site FBREF as one of the Spaniards’ most comparable players in the Premier League last season, ranked as the top 11% of position peers in goal involvement, 9% through the ball, and the top 21% of ball recovery per 90.

But it wasn’t a flash of bread, but Guech also stood out under the magical wings of Roy Hodgson, limiting his game in 2023/24 when Oliver Glasner first took the helm.

He is a top player and praises the “incredible” football ability by teammate Ebeki Eze, and with a clear emphasis on playing that progresses, dribbling upfield or choosing a calculated forward pass, Kerkez was able to find Dream’s long-term partner on the left side of the defense.

Virgil van Dick has, of course, held back the fort quite a bit in the area, but the skipper will turn 34 next month when he enters the penultimate second year of Liverpool’s career. Analyst Ben Matinson says so well that he “is one of the versatile CBs who can comfortably play both sides.”

With such impressive integrity and a flavour that won the title, Guehi is a fitting addition to Liverpool’s cause, making Kerkez the perfect left-hand partner to strengthen his strength under Slot’s careful guidance.
