Can Man City win the Club World Cup?
2024/25 was not City’s best season. They slid to third place in the Premier League table, losing to the FA Cup final and failing to take the Champions League quarter-finals.
Still, Guardiola’s side will be a force to be considered in this race, especially when new signatures like Rayan Cherki look so far.
It’s hard to predict that the top team will handle this tournament accurately, but from what we’ve seen so far, they seem determined to make the most of it, and City can really help lift up the silverware.
They’re more than enough to do that, but things like Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Chelsea will certainly be there as serious nominees for big awards.
