Report: Aston Villa is ready to sell three players by weekend

Aston Villa reportedly will be able to sell three players by the end of this week as the team continues to clean up the team.

That’s according to a report by Football Insider, which states that Villa appears to offload Leander Dendonker, Louis Barry and Kane Kessler Hayden in the coming days.

These aren’t the biggest names of the villa, so it’s not too much of a concern for club fans, but it can generally be a challenging summer for Midlands outfits.

Villa missed out on the Champions League qualifying round for the season.

Aston Villa had to sell many players

We already saw that Villa had to sell Douglas Lewis to Juventus last summer, but they also cashed in on talented young striker John Duran in January when Giants Al Nassle of the Saudi Arabian Pro League called.

Football insiders also note the uncertainty surrounding goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, which could become another exit from Villa Park in a few weeks and months.

On the other hand, I imagine that I’m interested in star names like Morgan Rogers and Ollie Watkins.

Unai Emery has done an incredible job as a Villa Manager, but it could be a tough season for him if he loses so many players in 2025/26 and has to rebuild a new look team.
