        • Mikel Arteta personally hopes to sign Arsenal for £94 million this summer
  • Arsenal Approach Corinthian Midfielder BrenovidonDespite Arsenal’s agreement with Norgaard, Brazilian news outlet UOL (via sports witnesses) reports that sports director Andrea Berta is keen on Corinth’s midfielder Breno Bidone.

Arsenal is set to sign Brentford Captain Christian Norgaard. He is poised to become Andrea Berta’s third contract for the summer, but he was able to add another midfielder to Mikel Arteta’s rank before the deadline.

The looming exit of veteran first-team star Thomas Party quickly made another defensive midfield signing important to Arteta after debate over a new contract.

This could help Arsenal drive Norgaard’s move, and the Gunners quickly agreed to a deal to make him the latest new addition after recent club signing Martin Zubimendi and Kepa Arizabaraga.

Norgaard is given permission to receive his Arsenal medical care, so apart from the late disaster, Denmark International comes to replace the part. Ian Westbrook, a Brentford fan writer on Arsenal, 31, is making quality purchases.

“Norgaard played an important role with the club for almost six years, having made nearly 200 appearances in all competitions in the summer of 2023 and was named captain,” Westbrook told the BBC.

“The importance on his part is shown by the fact that he failed to win any of the four Premier League matches he missed last season, and he won two wins in the seven he missed in the final campaign.

“He’s the glue that holds the sides together in defensive midfield roles, protects defenses, gains tackles and sets offense. This season he’s become a more regular scorer – six competitions in all his competitions (5 in five Premier Leagues) are almost half of the club’s total of 13. We’re a much weaker team without him.”

Arsenal Approach Corinthian Midfielder BrenovidonDespite Arsenal’s agreement with Norgaard, Brazilian news outlet UOL (via sports witnesses) reports that sports director Andrea Berta is keen on Corinth’s midfielder Breno Bidone.

Their interest makes sense as the 20-year-old is more of a Captain Martin Odegard than a traditional defensive anchor like Norgaard, meaning he will also play both the traditional centre midfield role as a cam.

UOL says the Corinthians are under pressure to sell at least one player to balance the book this summer, and Vidone is the “most likely” candidate as Arsenal, Brighton and the wolves all come into contact with them.

As Arsenal is said to have approached Bidon by joining Arteta’s side, the Corinthians are selling players for a fee below the £85 million release clause.
