Bringing the Wimbledon trophy home is a dream for every tennis player, but that trophy brings a lot of money. The 2025 tournament, which begins on June 30th, saw an 8% increase in total prize money from last year’s tournament.

Payments in the tennis tournament are determined by the round competitor reach before elimination or before winning the championship. Going out in the opening round of 128 means running away for $90,744, but with at least one win guarantee, such as $136,117. This makes it important for the men and women that all matches are involved.

Carlos Alcaraz, who has won a dramatic open victory in France, is about to win Wimbledon for the third consecutive year, winning the title in 2023 and 2024.

On the women’s side, it goes against repeated repetitions from 2024 winner Barbora Krejcikova. Krejcikova took part in last year’s tournament as 31 seed, beating the tournament by beating Jasmine Paolini. The repeat odds are listed as +4000. Aryna Sabalenka is a clear bet favorite at +240.

How much does Wimbledon pay?

This year’s boys and girls single winners will take home a prize of around $4.1 million. Once you reach the semi-finals, you’ll be guaranteed to have a seven-figure payday of over $1 million.
