The sinner is split up with trainer, Physio ahead of Wimbledon

Wimbledon, England – The breakup company with two members of a team that Wimbledon might not sound ideal, had a negative impact as world No. 1 Jannik Sinner was preparing for a Grass Court Grand Slam.

The 23-year-old Italian split up surprisingly well after the Halle tournament with his trainers and physical therapists Marco Panici and Uris Badio, respectively. He was asked about the situation on Saturday.

“Nothing happened. Nothing big things happened. I parted ways a while ago, but it hasn’t affected me. I’m ready to compete. I feel free. Me and my team, we are ready to do our best we can.”

“We’ve reached incredible results in the past with them. They obviously did a huge job. We did an amazing job, but I decided to do something different.”

Panic and Badio have been part of the Thinner team since September 2024, helping him win the Australian Open this year, bringing the three-person haul of the career grand slam. He also arrived at the French Open Finals this month, but lost the thriller to Carlos Alcaraz. He led Alcaraz in two sets.

“Look, in this sport, things can happen. Sometimes players feel something is different. That’s what I do in my case.”

He won one match at Halle before losing to Alexander Babrik, but he was mentally prepared for Wimbledon, where he said he hopes to become the first Italian singles champion.

“To be honest, I feel ready to play. I’m ready. We practice very well. What happened in the past has already happened in the past,” said Thinner, who will face Italian Luca Nardi in the first round.

“It feels good. I feel very good, especially mentally, I feel like I’m in a very good place. Hare was a little different. It’s gone now and I’m also watching other players and people’s reactions.

“I feel like I’m playing great, great tennis on the grass. Hopefully I can show this at the match court.”

The sinner served a three-month halt earlier this year after authorities agreed to a settlement with the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) in February after authorities admitted he accidentally entered his system via massage from former Indian Wells physics Giacomo Nardi in March 2024.

During his castration, he explored some new talents and recorded a single with the great Andrea Boselli of Italian opera, where he spoke his lines.

He won’t give up on his day’s work, but Thinner said it’s great to do something completely different.

“I felt like the best time to do video together, especially in the last three months I couldn’t play,” he said.

“Obviously he’s an incredible artist. It was amazing to me to be a part of this. It was a big, big job, and an ongoing work.
