This Monday, the 2025 NBA Draft Lottery was in Chicago. Dallas will win the No. 1 pick in June to win with a 1.8% chance. General Manager Nico Harrison said the team plans to draft Duke’s Cooper Flag.

San Antonio is expected to finish second and choose Rutgers’ Dylan Harper. The third overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft belongs to the Philadelphia 76ers. The mock draft has Six, who selects Rutgers’ Ace Bailey on the third pick. However, NBA insider Sam Vecenie reports that Philadelphia is “expected” for its third overall pick trade offer.

Should the 76ers trade their third overall pick for a Win-now talent?

In the 2025 NBA Draft Lottery, the 76ers had one goal. Has less than the sixth pick. Had Philadelphia had more than seven picks or more, the draft would have been sent to the Oklahoma City Thunder. ESPN’s Kevin Negandhi was the host of the lottery draft on Monday night. He slid and said the 76ers fell out of the top six and lost a pick to OKC.

However, the Sixers held the draft in 2025, making their third overall choice. NBA insider Sam Vecenie said Philadelphia is “expected” to hear the third pick trade offer. He explained that Ace Bailey has a great outlook at #3, but the scouts see him as a project. With players on the Sixers’ current roster, the team needs Win-Now talent.

Last season, the 76ers were destroyed by injuries to a top player on the roster. Joel Embiid played 19 games with the Sixers in 2024-25. Does the team want to say goodbye to Top Draft Capital to fill the roster with the talent of the veteran winner? If the Sixers choose to keep their third overall pick, they can opt for VJ Edgecombe over Ace Bailey. Edgecombe is currently considered a more NBA-enabled prospect. It might draft him on Ace Bailey to rock the 76ers. We’ll see where these players will land until the June draft.
