Arsenal Plan speaks to sign a £105 million Gyokeres alternative

If Arsenal needed motivation to get past the finish line next season, Tottenham Hotspur provided them with it.

With his place in second place in the Premier League and actually secured, Board and new sports director Andrea Berta can turn his attention to the summer transfer window and the hunt for new strikers.

The two strikers, who have been most linked to their travel to the Emirates over the past few months, have sported CP Viktor Gyoker and Newcastle United’s Alexander Isaac, but lacked experience in the previous top five leagues, with the latter with a potential cost of over £150 million.

In fact, if recent reports are believed, Mikel Arteta and Co are currently interested in the ideal Gyoker alternative that won a comparison with Toon Star.

Before you reach the player in question, it’s worth looking into some of the other strikers who have linked Arsenal over the past few weeks, such as Benjamin Sesco and Liam Dellup.

The former enjoyed another impressive season with RB Leipzig, scoring 21 goals and providing six assists in 45 games, but such a return is reportedly increased to around £75 million.

Meanwhile, Delap has a release clause worth just £30 million on his current contract, but with 12 goals and two assists in 36 Premier League games this season, he will represent gambling.

Plus, if Arteta and Co really want someone who is a real alternative to Gyoker, they have to be proven scorers like Julián Alvarez.

According to a recent report from journalist Mattias Palacios, Arsenal through Spanish football program El Cingate Rock is one of several teams that are very interested in the Atletico Madrid star.

In fact, journalists have allegedly “want” Argentina this summer, with “conferences with clubs of interest coming.”

The striker’s potential price tag has not been mentioned, but you won’t be surprised that his valuation hits nine-man figures, especially as he spent the La Liga Giants, which cost just £82 million last summer.

That being said, Arsenal should do what he can to sign Alvarez.

How Alvarez compares Isaac

So before we look at some of the other reasons Arsenal should consider signing Alvarez this summer, we need to look at this comparison to ISAK and where it came from.
