Otani is slowly rising up as a pitcher after the team progresses towards this season. But this is a big step towards him returning to the mound.

After facing live hitters, the next big step is to make rehabilitation assignments. However, the don’t have the option of going to rehabilitation assignments as Otani can’t afford to have a bat in the lineup every day.
