Nuggets fans will love the one-word verdict about Michael Malone’s Shy Gilgauss Alexander, he agreed to David Adelman

It appears Michael Malone is trying to do some damage control after his comments from Shy Gilgus Alexander.

After Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals, the biggest topic was actually a comment made by former Denver Nuggets head coach Michael Malone.

Malone was covering the Oklahoma City Thunder victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves. And during that time Malone was called Shay Gilgauss Alexander, the legitimate MVP winner.

What made this interesting is that Malone, who was the head coach of the Nuggets until last month, advocated that Nicola Djokic would win the award for the previous few months.

Malone was to clarify his position early tonight in Jokic’s MVP campaign. And now it appears he is about to return to a good Nuggets fan book with his latest remarks about Shy.

Michael Malone spoke at the Sports Center after Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals. His tone to Shy Gilgas Alexander appears to have changed.

He called Shay Gilgauss Alexander for receiving a favorable call from the judge. He then agreed to current Nuggets coach David Adelman and called Shy a foul artist.

“It’s an advantage. It’s an easy way. I saw the final series with Denver. You have to be very disciplined.”

“I’ve been thinking about defending the best offensive players in the league these days. That’s almost impossible. Often, offensive players like Shy hook their arms, wanting to portray that contact. He’s a foul artist.”

“Discipline. The referee wants to read how the game is hissed, and they allow you to be a little more aggressive. You can do that. But once again, he lives in the foul line.

It is very easy to refer to Shy’s free throw numbers as the reason for Thunder’s domination. But the truth behind the matter is that he plays well and has strong numbers without charity shots.

He scored 25 and 20 points tonight without free throws in Game 1. The free throws only helped Shy score.

If the Timberwolves want to contact Shy Gilgauss Alexander, they have to find a way to clog the lane, so he can’t drive to the basket with all his play.

Plus, they need an additional defender near the paint to limit Shy from midrange, as he is deadly from there.
