  • Liverpool is interested in Ethan Nuwaneri
  • Nwaneri has issues with his playing time

Premier League champions Liverpool are monitoring the situation of one of Arsenal’s best players.

Arne Slot’s Premier League champions have beaten Arsenal to the league title this season and are now looking to one of the most promising players.

Ethan Nwaneri is a promising talent and he shows the quality of Mikel Arteta this season.

With nine goals and two assists in a groundbreaking season with the club, Nuwaneri has attracted attention from some of the biggest clubs in England and Europe.

However, the youngster has refused to sign a long-term contract at Emirates Stadium.

Liverpool is interested in Ethan Nuwaneri

According to TBR Football, it warns clubs like Liverpool and Manchester City that they can make moves for creative players in the future.

The reason why Nuwaneri reserves his reservation on signing a long-term contract with the club is because he has doubts about his playing time with the club under Arteta.

Nwaneri signed a three-year contract when he turned 17 in 2023. This was the largest length allowed at the time.

He celebrated his 18th birthday in March, and although Arsenal was optimistic that a new long-term agreement would soon be confirmed, sources now show that teenagers are leaving a considerable distance from committing to fresh terms.

Nwaneri has not started enough games for the Premier League Giants this season despite experiencing an injury crisis.

Bucayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli were injured for a long time. Even Martin Odegaard missed a fair amount of time early in the season, but still Nwaneri’s playing time with the club was limited.

Nwaneri is worried about his future at the North London Club as he has only started his league start 10 times and Gunners are looking for a new signature this summer.

In addition to Premier League clubs, Bayern Munich, RB Leipzig and Barcelona are also paying attention to young English talent.

With Gunner trying to sign Brian Mbuemo from Brentford this summer, Nuwaneri is justified by believing that he has limited playing time.
